BUSINESSES cast away the recent doom and gloom by having a ball at the Rugby Advertiser Business Awards.
The 11th annual ceremony, organised in partnership with Cemex, was held at the Benn Hall on Friday night and featured a top line-up of entertainment.
MC for the night was Rugby FM DJ Jason Moss and there was also entertainment from magician
magician Martin Sanderson.
The awards themselves were as hotly contested as ever with microchip firm TekBroker winning the prestigious Business of the Year title.
The other award winners were as follows: Retailer of the Year - M&M Jewellers, Business Newcomer - Nationwide Distribution Services Ltd, Innovator of the Year - Gymophobics, Small Business of the Year - M&M Jewellers, Customer Care Award - Crossroads Rugby Branch, Employee of the Year - Jim Brown from TekBroker, Team of the Year - Bees Knees Private Hire, Best Marketing or Promotional Campaign - Franklin Property Services, Eco-friendly Company of the Year - TekBroker.
